The African Savannah

The African savannah is famous for its rich fauna, especially for its large mammals. Large mammals can be divided into two groups depending on their diet. The first group includes herbivores, represented by various species, such as antelope, zebra, giraffe, elephant, etc. The second group includes large carnivores, such as the lion and the leopard. Savannah animals have characteristic colors that allow them to hide in tall grass.
