Corals are related to jellyfish, but live attached to the sea floor on rocks and stones, singly or in colonies. Most coral species contain symbiotic Dinoflagellates (Zooxanthellae), which provide them with energy via photosynthesis. They can also be predatory; however, feeding mainly on zooplankton, which they catch with their tentacles.
